Biography

Jade Dyamond, born to Jamaican parents, is both a STEM professional and visual artist that lives in Miami. She is a self-taught painter and has refined her skills at the De Vita Academy of Art and various other art workshops. She crafts paintings that revolve around the human figure and nature, highlighting natural scenes in day to day life within her work. She is committed to creating a positive impact and reflecting the environment within her artwork. Her primary medium of expression is oil paint on canvas. She has been blessed to have shown at Gasper Arts Center, Frank Contemporary Gallery and the TELEPHONE Gallery and has been featured in CREATE Magazine.

Jade Dyamond is an emerging visual artist based in Miami. Her primary medium of expression is acrylic, and oil paint on canvas.With her Jamaican-Indian Heritage, Jade loves her culture and that sense of community that one's heritage brings. She hopes to bring to life in her work that comfortability, love and belonging that her heritage and her family has gifted her. Her emphasizes the strength, emotion, highlights the beauty of life and incorporates the elements of nature. Her focus with her work is creative freedom — most specifically, not conforming to a specific style, but emulating a sense of feeling. She enjoys manipulation of color and light within her work, drawing inspiration from impressionism, and luminism. The environment serves as inspiration for her work, allowing her to capture the beauty found in nature and relay it on canvas. She admires art for its transcendent quality and its ability to advance through the mind and appeal to many senses at once.
